Next Hunt




		Generally speaking, hunting is a cold air event so our AKC licensed events are held from Fall to Spring and are normally open to all pointing breeds. While we normally hunt quail, we hold Field Trials, Hunt Tests, and Ratings where pigeons or chukkar (etc.) could be used. All AKC registered pointing breed dogs are welcomed at almost all of our hunts. We supply experienced judges on horseback, shooters, planters, marshals and loads of fun. We try to supply lots of qualification ribbons too! Often, we even supply lunch for a donation. We have places to park your camper or (if you are really brave) your tent. If your idea of roughing it is a motel - we have arrangements with those too. The bottom line: Our events are a safe, fun, worry free, smooth running way to earn your hunting qualifications in the company of good people. Children are welcome, but expected to be well supervised by their parents. We hold our events within an easy drive from Atlanta.

Join Our FOUR DAY Event! (November 10-13, 2011)

Our Fall Event is FINALLY here! On November 10th through the 11th, 2011 we will be holding a Weimaraner-Only Walking and Non-Retrieving Field Trial!

If you want to compete just with other Weimaraners, do not have a horse (or don't want to have to load one up), and don't want to take chances on missed shots on birds causing retrieving training issues - this is the event to attend! We are concentrating on amateur stakes so owners can run their own dogs, but we have an open stake as well for those of you who prefer to use a pro or want to have multiple opportunities.

Immediately following the 2 day Field Trial (on November 11th) we will hold a Weimaraner-Only Retrieving Ratings Test and a Weimaraner-Only Shooting Dog Ratings Test. We have the time set a little later so that it allows a little extra travel time to attend.

As if that isn't enough, the following 2 days (on November 12th and 13th) we will hold an All Breed Hunt Test!

Frankly, we are trying to build a field major - from now on - year after year - for Weimaraner Only Field Trials. We have to start someplace and we think that a four day event will be a good place to start.

For the newbies out there, consider the Premium List an entry form combined with the terms and conditions for the event. You will need to fill this out, sign it and send it in with your entry fee. This event is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED entry. This means that the sooner you can send it in the higher the probability you will be selected to get into the test. Yes, these trails can fill up and we would be forced to turn people away. You will (obviously) be notified if you get in or not. Read the premium for details and Good luck!
